Honey Basil Balsamic Vinaigrette
This family-friendly honey basil balsamic vinaigrette is great as a salad dressing and can be used as a marinade for vegetables and meats. What's even better is it's Paleo and gluten free!
- 1/2 cup basil leaves chopped and packed tightly
- 1/3 cup balsamic vinegar
- 1/3 cup finely chopped shallots
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1/4 tsp freshly ground black pepper
Place all ingredients in a blender.
Blend until smooth.
Serve immediately for best flavor.
Store leftovers in an airtight, opaque bottle or jar in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
