Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup basil leaves chopped and packed tightly
  • 1/3 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 1/3 cup finely chopped shallots
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1/4 tsp freshly ground black pepper

Instructions
 

  • Place all ingredients in a blender.
  • Blend until smooth.
  • Serve immediately for best flavor.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight, opaque bottle or jar in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
